Open Door Health Services is excited to be celebrating National Health Center Week. The national campaign runs August 7-13th with the goal of raising awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s Health Centers over the course of more than five decades.

Open Door Health Services (ODHS) has been selected by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as one of 516 awardees in 47 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia to help reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes among millions of Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries.

The Open Door pediatric department hosted their first Asthma Fair Wednesday July 27, and it was a great success. 27 children were a part of the asthma fair, which included group discussion, spirometry, device use, games, provider visit, and snacks.

Open Door Health Services hosted their fifth annual Back 2 School Fun Fest on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 1-4pm at 333 S. Madison Street in Muncie and the turnout continues to be great.

Open Door Health Services will be hosting a farmers market from July 14th to October 15th. The farmers market will be held on Thursdays from 11am - 2pm at 333 S. Madison Street Muncie, IN 47305.

According to the Indiana State Department of Child Services, on average, at least one child dies each week in Indiana as a result of bed sharing in an unsafe environment.

Open Door Health Services’ (ODHS) Board of Directors is excited to introduce Bryan Ayars as the new Chief Executive Officer. Ayars will be starting at ODHS on June 16 and will be introduced to the organization and community by current CEO Toni Estep who will be retiring on June 30.
