Open Door Names New CEO

June 2, 2016 – Muncie, IN – Open Door Health Services’ (ODHS) Board of Directors is excited to introduce Bryan Ayars as the new Chief Executive Officer. Ayars will be starting at ODHS on June 16 and will be introduced to the organization and community by current CEO Toni Estep who will be retiring on June 30.

Ayars received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY and has been residing in Massachusetts where he has been the Chief Executive Officer of Community Health Programs, A Federally Qualified Health Center located in Great Barrington, MA. He has also served in numerous leadership positions including the New England Rural Health RoundTable, the New Hampshire AHEC Statewide Advisory Committee, and the Communication Center for the Whitewater Canoe and Kayak Competition for the 1996 Olympic Games.

Ayars is excited to be moving to Indiana, where he has family ties throughout the state, including Wabash, Indianapolis, and LaPorte. “I am excited about the prospect of being part of the momentum that is occurring in Muncie.  There is so much growth and turnaround that is happening right now that it is a very exciting time to be here,” Ayars stated.

Open Door Health Services is looking forward to what the future holds for the organization. We also want to give another warm thank you to Toni Estep for her many years of service to Open Door and the East Central Indiana community.
