Morrisa Regis, PA-C
ADULT & FAMILY CARE
Morrisa joins the primary care team at Open Door’s Downtown Muncie location (333 N. Madison Ave.) With a background in science and teaching, she is excited to help patients understand how they can improve their personal health and wellbeing.
Morrisa was raised in the Caribbean and came to the United States for college. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at Claflin University in South Carolina and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Purdue University. After teaching high school and college science for several years, she returned to school for a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Trine University.
“I’m excited to be part of an organization that helps people from any background,” said Morrisa. “I want my patients to feel at ease sharing their concerns and being a part of decisions about their health.”
In her free time, she likes being with her three kids, going to the park, and trying new restaurants, especially west African and Indian food. She’s also a big fan of Lord of the Rings and the Dune books.
