McKenzie received her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Ball State University. A lifelong East Central Indiana resident, McKenzie previously worked for A Better Way where she often referred clients to seek care at Open Door. Her professional interests include working with adolescents with trauma, anxiety, and depression, conduct disorder, and oppositional defiant disorder. Outside of Open Door, she enjoys playing disc golf, kayaking, and playing video games, which helps her connect with her adolescent clients.
