Eric Collins, PhD

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

In addition to earning his doctorate in education psychology at Ball State University, Dr. Collins has earned three master’s degrees – behavioral medicine and health psychology from Northcentral University and counseling and education psychology from Ball State. He attributes his love for psychology to his grandmother, who from an early age taught him a lot about interacting with people and understanding the personal difficulties we all face. Dr. Collins has a long history working with individuals with intellectual and behavioral disabilities. At Open Door he provides both counseling and testing services.

His favorite movie is The Color Purple: “My mother and her friend played a part in its production. I was made to watch it over and over! But that aside, I think it’s a great movie.”
